THE NGO PINGO DE GENTE has made a donation of meat to the poor population of Paraguaçu

THE NGO PINGO DE GENTE SOCIO-CULTURAL ORGANISATION with the intention of always helping the poor population of Paraguaçu SP, made donations of meat on Christmas eve the 24/12/2010.

Unlike hundreds of people who bestow gifts at this time of year, the NGO increased awareness for people to have food on the table on Christmas day.

Located on Rue Maria Benedita de Jesus Paranhos no 1319, na Vlla Galdino, Pingo de Gente every week distributes 54 litres of milk for children aged between 3 and 12 years, and financially assists a few families in need. Not counting that they have already made donations of matresses, beds, children’s clothing, toys and shoes purchased directly from local business.

The Paraguaçuian president of the NGO, Maria Madalena, who currently lives in Belgium, created PINGO DE GENTE in 2006.
According to her most of the donations come from Belgium, where she has several sponsors who collaborate every month with the organisation.
